Program Management is critical to the successful execution of programs, ensuring customer requirements are achieved on time and within budget. In addition to being a customer advocate, the Program Manager will provide strategic guidance to teams to ensure key objectives are realized.The Program Manager will also promote the company’s culture and drive our greater mission of making aviation more accessible for everyone.

The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader and will have experience in managing staff of different disciplines to produce results in a timely manner. They will also be able to develop efficient strategies and tactics.RESPONSIBILITIES:Support ARP4754, DO-178C, or DO-254 programsDaily program management throughout the program life cycleDefine the program governance (controls)Manage risk and escalate issues promptly to mitigate potential impacts on project timelines and deliverables.Provide regular status updates and reports to senior management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.Develop and maintain program budgets and schedulesManage change, risk and resource managementCoordinating the projects and their interdependenciesManaging and utilizing resources across projectsManaging stakeholders’ communicationAligning the deliverables (outputs) to the program’s “outcome”Organize and monitor inter-connected projectsParticipate in development of company business strategyCoordinate cross-project activitiesPerform other duties as assignedREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:10+ years of Program Management experience in aerospace industryProfessional experience managing a program from cradle to graveAbility to manage multiple concurrent programsProficiency with MS Project, EVM and Risk ManagementExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to build trust and successfully influence to drive resultsGet it done attitudeCritical and strategic thinkingMicrosoft Project ExperienceJIRA tool experiencePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline5+ years of experience in aircraft systems developmentUnderstanding of aircraft quality assurance and management principles and processesStart-up environment experienceFamiliarity with industry standards and regulations such as ARP4754, DO-178C, and DO-254.PMP CertificationPrevious experience completing a full aircraft life-cycle development and certification programExperience with people managementWHY SKYRYSE?The opportunity to change the world through improving aviation safety and accessibilityThe base salary range is $150 - $225K USD a year.
