Create and implement a comprehensive sustainable procurement strategy in sync with the company sustainability strategy. This includes:Defining the thematic areasDevelop programmatic interventions to facilitate strategy implementationAlign the strategy and operations with other corporate teamsHorizon scanning of the evolving sustainability landscape to proactively identify future trends and focal areas to generate value for the company and customersFacilitate development of programmatic interventions as and when requiredStakeholder Engagement:Engage and collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Corporate Environment, Global Supply Chain, Corporate Citizenship etc) to ensure alignment and operational harmonizationEngage and represent Sustainable Procurement to external stakeholders (e.g., suppliers, NGOs, industry forums) to promote, learn and adapt sustainable procurement practicesRisk review:Proactively identify sustainability-related risks in the supply chainIdentify and communicate to relevant teams on the mitigation actionsRegulatory landscape:Review the evolving regulatory landscape to identify new sustainability requirements from supply chain and integrate them in various programsConnect and engage with relevant departments to ensure harmonizationInnovation:Stay up-to-date with industry trends, practices and emerging technologies to drive sustainable procurement.Reporting and Communication:Prepare and present regular reports on sustainable procurement progress to senior leadership and stakeholders.Business Process Optimization:Optimize business processes to ensure efficiency in global deploymentWork collaboratively with other departments (Procurement, Corporate Environment, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, IT, etc. as required) as and when requiredOrganizational DevelopmentReview the future readiness of team structure and organizational alignmentIdentify areas of skill enhancement within the teamDefine avenues for professional growth for the team members to ensure high potential talent retention and recruitment• Training & Change Management:Lead training and capacity building initiative to meet program objectiveDevelop practical training material to facilitate implementationDeliver training material to internal and external stakeholdersStay abreast of new developments in the field and incorporate in the programSupport and coach additional team membersSchedule:Full-timeReq:009792
