As a Staff Sales Systems Engineer at Stryker, you will be responsible for actively leading the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working with the extended sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate. You will articulate Stryker’s Vocera technology solutions and product positioning to business and technical users. Pre-sales activities include understanding the customer’s business and analyzing their mobile communications and workflow requirements.Who we want:Trusted advisors who can build positive relationships with customers and partners, maintaining excellent relationships throughout the sales cycleStrategic thinkers who can identify customer pain points through discovery and removing any roadblocksWhat you will do:You will partner with the Sales team to help educate customers on the value of Stryker’s Vocera solutions through product demonstrations and presentationsWork closely with the customer’s IT team to ensure they fully understand our deployment methodologies and requirementsYou will qualify our customer’s network infrastructure via assessments using Ekahau AI Pro Survey, Omnipeek, and Wireshark analysis toolsDesign Vocera architecture for customer deployments and prepare customer infrastructure assessment reports for our professional services teamYou will respond to RFIs/RFPs and IT questionnaires and take part in trade shows, conferencing and marketing events as neededWhat you need:B.S. in Information Technology or a related field and 6+ years additional equivalent work experience required4+ years demonstrated experience in technical sales or integration development for healthcare organizations preferredDeep understanding of Windows, Linux and Cloud architecturesSolid understanding of server virtualization70% travel throughout Western Canada2+ years of enterprise 802.11 wireless and LAN/ WAN networking experience preferredHands on experience deploying Mobile Applications for Smartphones via MDM solutions preferredExperience with middleware and EMR/EHR applications preferredIntegration knowledge and experience with 3rd party systems (e.g. Nurse Call, Patient Monitoring, Middleware, and SIP trunking) preferredWi-Fi or Route/Switch certifications preferredExperience with SIP and Traditional TDM Telephony preferredAbout StrykerStryker is a global leader in medical technologies and, together with its customers, is driven to make healthcare better.
