This role can be based either in Raleigh (US), Bad Honnef (DE), Stoney Creek (CA), or Ludvika (SE).How you’ll make an impactKeep up with the latest technology solutions, international standards, market trends, and customer requirements in transformer monitoring and diagnostics, with a focus on tap changersPropose novel solutions for tap changer monitoring and diagnosticsWork closely with product management to define the development roadmap for monitoring and diagnostic servicesDrive the creation and implementation of monitoring and diagnostic algorithms, ensuring they are well-documented and up-to-datePrepare training materials and conduct training sessions for designated service unitsParticipate in international pre-standardization and standardization effortsProvide deep technical support for root cause analyses and issue resolutions, integrating lessons learned into our algorithmsOffer advanced technical support to other functions (e.g., Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales), and participate in customer and supplier meetings as neededAttend trade shows to identify customer pain points and associated consequencesYour backgroundMSc or BSc Engineering degree or equivalent5+ years of experience in tap changers service and/or engineeringStrong technical background in tap changers, including diagnostic equipment, test sets, tools, safety protocols, and maintenance proceduresExperience in installation, commissioning, and on-site activities is a plusKnowledge of tap changer monitoring systems, including digital devices, software, and communicationData analysis and interpretation skillsProven experience in transformer engineering studies, diagnostics, and condition assessmentExperience interacting with customers and/or international standards groupsInternational experience and intercultural sensitivityStructured and analytical thinking with a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skillsApply now
