POS-26178This Technical Lead will join the Generative AI Foundations team. This team owns the GenerativeAI Library service and is building out our AI Agent Framework, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) system, LLM evaluation framework and more. AI Agents are our #1 bet for 2025 and so creating a reliable, easy-to-use and scalable framework is our top priority.We’re looking for individuals who:Have a passion for bringing simplicity to complex systems.Dive into concepts they may be unfamiliar with.Are passionate about delivering exceptional experiences to our customers.Take ownership, work collaboratively, and figure things out.Analyze trade-offs with empathy, while building creative solutions.Demonstrate pragmatic decision-making and problem-solving abilities.Partner with their triad (Product Manager and Product Designer) to design, scope, and deliver solutions to help our customers manage and grow their businesses.Manage a small team of engineers while still making individual contributions.Foster an environment that encourages autonomy and psychological safety.Understand the value of building a diverse team, and are champions and upstanders for Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging initiatives.Enjoy mentoring and coaching other team members in a psychologically safe way, while also being open to learning from them as well.Are primarily happy spending their time writing JavaScript and TypeScript. We have a fantastic implementation of our Canvas design system, so engineers spend very little time writing custom CSS.
