RESPONSIBILITIES:Execute experimental flight tests in a rotorcraft helicopterCoordinate with flight test engineers to develop test plans, test cards, and test procedures given requirements from the engineering teamDevelop and maintain flight manuals, operations, checklists and proceduresLead and/or participate in safety of flight and flight readiness review boardsComplete all required documentation in accordance with established company and FAA proceduresMaintain flying currency and proficiency in multiple different aircraft typesMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Graduate of Navy Test Pilot School, Empire Test Pilot School, or equivalent high-level formal course, or possess 5+ years of direct flight-test experienceFAA Class II MedicalTeam player with excellent communication skillsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Graduate of a formal test pilot school (USAF TPS, USNTPS, NTPS, etc.)Three years of test pilot experience on developmental flight test programs1000+ PIC total rotorcraft helicopter flight hoursRotorcraft-Helicopter commercial pilot licenseWHY SKYRYSE?The opportunity to change the world through improving aviation safety and accessibility$175,000 - $250,000 salaryValuable stock option planHeavily subsidized medical, dental and vision plansFull-time employees are eligible for 20 days of paid time off (PTO) and 5 sick days annually.
