CompensationThe anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is $65,900.00 to $109,800.00. This position is eligible for participation in our short-term incentive program in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.The range provided is not a guarantee of compensation. The range reflects the potential base pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual base pay compensation will depend, in part, on factors such as geographic work location and relevant experience and skills. The anticipated compensation range described above is subject to change and the compensation ultimately paid may be higher or lower than the range described above.Position Details:As the Transportation Analytics Analyst, you will support reporting, analytics, and integrating solutions that solve important Transportation needs for the Grainger Supply Chain. You will help in the development of new solutions, improve current solutions, and help drive insights and provide strategic support to Transportation. Additionally, you will strive to continuously improve, learn, and develop your technical skills. You will report to the Reporting and Analytics Manager.This position is based in Lake Forest, IL.You Will:Develop new solutions or improvements to existing transportation processes, reporting, data availability, and data integrity.Maintain PowerBI reporting and improve the data models that supportProvide insights and analysis around Transportation on-time performance, cost, and customer experience.Maintain and measure previously implemented projects/processesDevelop and utilize cross functional relationshipsServe as a key contact for cross functional projectsWorking through challenging issues in a constructive mannerStrategyExtrapolate data into written reports/presentationsContextualize analytics into business perspectiveYou Have:Bachelor’s Degree with Supply Chain, Business, or Information Systems focus or equivalent experience1 or more years of experience in related fieldAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access and other reporting tools and interfacesExperience with Snowflake, SQL and PowerBIRewards and Benefits:With benefits starting day one, Grainger is committed to your safety, health and wellbeing.
