Job Description:The RoleThe VP, Real Estate Investments will partner with the Real Estate Investment Officer and the Head of Direct Real Estate to execute on a plan to acquire commercial real estate in the US on behalf of various FMR fund vehicles. This will include sourcing the opportunity, managing the underwriting, negotiating with the seller, presenting the opportunity to investment committee, running the due diligence process, closing the transaction, leading the property-level financing process, and assuming asset management responsibilities for initial acquisitions.The Expertise and Skills You BringBachelor’s degree required, MBA preferredMinimum of 10 years work experience in commercial real estate required; majority within investment rolesStrong professional relationships throughout the US real estate industryRecent relevant investment experience in US commercial real estate across various asset classes; Asset Management experience a plusStrong writing and presentation abilities
