Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.The Workplace Experience Maintenance Technician will provide cost effective physical facilities support to contribute to a productive and safe work environment for Siemens employees.Major Responsibilities (include % of time):Troubleshoot, repair and maintain mechanical and control systems, which can include HVAC (heating, ventilation, AC), plumbing, electrical, audio-visual and fire safety systems. Some work may be done directly, some may need contact/contract with providers. Technician would report need for provider with Facilities Manager, but then handle service calls, monitoring providers, and report any issues to RFM. % of time: 50 - 70Provide efficient customer service both proactively and in response to requests in the areas of maintenance and facilities services which can include logistics, conference room set-up, conference resources, office moves and furniture placement. % of time: 10Lead or backup Audio/Video support for a defined geography. Handle AV questions, light training, and provide on-hand meeting support for the Teleconferencing system in addition to responding to emergency meeting support calls when necessary. % of time: 0 - 10Assist in monitoring HVAC system performance and activity via web based tool. Respond to customer requests regarding work environment HVAC issues to provide office comfort. Respond to requests for repair and maintenance. % of time: 0 - 10May track and trend environmental operational characteristics for datacenters via a web-based monitoring system. Investigate and/or respond to alarm conditions when temperature or power threshold limits have been reached. % of time: 0 - 10Assist to ensure all code compliance for area of responsibility; meet with the code officials (fire, building, etc.) to address concerns and report any concerns to Facilities Mgmt. % of time: 0 - 5
